Manchester United vs Liverpool Live screening at Singapore’s Clarke Quay

More than 500 passionate fans gathered at the latest ‘Chang Football Moments’ screening of the highly anticipated Manchester United vs Liverpool match that took place on Sunday 24 February 2019 at the bustling Fountain Square, located in the middle of the Clarke Quay. Nestled in the midst of restored shophouses and warehouses infused with funky art-decor structures, football fans arrived early to secure their spots to meet with the legends and get their mementoes signed.

For this event Chang had a treat for the fans; an exclusive meet-and-greet session with ex-Liverpool goalkeeper David James and ex-Man U defender Mikael Silvestre! Both legends met fans, signed autographs and provided match analysis together with popular Fox Sports Asia host John Dykes. The crowd was intrigued with the views of our popular stars and were constantly engaging with both legends and John Dykes throughout the evening.

As kick-off approached the crowd swelled, and by the time the referee blew the first whistle the square was spilling with passionate fans of both teams. The match was suitably exciting and drew oohs and ahhs with every try and save; both David and Mikael were seen off their seats occasionally as they joined in the passion and rooted for their respective teams.

While the match ended in a draw, everyone there was a winner. Friendships were forged as fans bonded in friendly banter over crisp, cold Chang beers. The stars definitely made it a memorable night to remember Chang Football Moments! See you next time!
