Chang Beer Officially Brewing in Myanmar

The opening of Emerald Brewery and local production kick starts nationwide distribution

Operations at the state-of-the-art Emerald Brewery, located in Hlegu Township, Yangon, has commenced to produce the award-winning Chang Beer, and started to build nationwide distribution to bring the international brew to all areas of the country.
This First Canning ceremony to inaugurate the new brewery was held on 25 September 2019, which also marked the 25th anniversary of Chang Beer. Apart from making Chang Beer more widely available to beer lovers in Myanmar, the brewery will also create economic value and build sustainable communities.
